Though the term Anglo-Irish is quite old hat, I use it because it best describes my natural accent. I was raised in Dublin but spent months of each year with my English relatives in Cambridgeshire. The lilting Irish accent I now have is very comprehensible and neutral, suitable for use in the UK, USA, Ireland or indeed worldwide.
